She teaches in the fields of religion and gender studies, literature and academic writing practice at the University of Western Sydney and Notre Dame University, Sydney. She began researching women in mythology and religion, and from there explored the development of feminist spirituality from within the context of integral theory and human evolutionary development; following the heroine image of a woman from the ancient Archaic stage to the burgeoning Integral stage of human history.
